The exhibition displays more than 200 Chinese paintings and oil paintings created by eight units: the Propaganda Bureau of the Political Work Department of the Central Military Commission, the Central Academy of Fine Arts, the China Academy of Fine Arts, the Tsinghua Academy of Fine Arts, the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, the Hubei Academy of Fine Arts, the Luxun Academy of Fine Arts, and the Xi&#8217;an Academy of Fine Arts It covers 12 giant 3-meter \u00d7 8-meter works created by 12 main creative teams based on the forefront of representative historical events of the Red Army&#8217;s Long March, as well as sketching manuscripts, creative sketches, etc. By retracing the Long March, examining historical materials, and collecting materials, each creative team, while respecting historical facts to a greater extent, expanded the forms of expression of revolutionary historical themes and thematic art creation from a contemporary art perspective, and reproduced typical images and inspiring scenes from that glorious period.
